Who we are

Arthritis Research Campaign (arc) is the only major charity in the UK funding research to investigate the cause of, and cure for, arthritis and other rheumatic diseases. We are in fact the fourth largest medical charity in the UK; despite the fact that many people, including 12,000 children, suffer from arthritis, we do not have the high profile associated with our position.

Why you should run for us

The Bupa Great Manchester Run is a fantastic opportunity to raise much-needed funds and help build our profile in this fast-growing 10K race. As part of our Bupa Great Manchester Run Team you will receive:

Last year over 16,000 people took part in Britain's newest running event making it truly a great run in a great city. arc had a team of a dozen runners, who all completed the race in good times, despite the heat!

One arc runner, Allan Randall, commented that, "it was a fantastic day and a brilliant atmosphere."
